Jamaica Weather is Perfect

I saw an interesting post today at Panamextravel.com about Jamaican weather. Although the post ended up being basically an advertisement for Superclubs, it had some good thoughts, not great, but good.

Are you looking for that “perfect,” vacation destination? If you are, you may be overwhelmed with all of your options. One of the first places you will want to examine is Jamaica…

So, what is it that makes Jamaica such as great vacation destination? In all honesty, a lot. With that said, the weather is a huge factor. The weather of Jamaica is warm, beautiful, and tropical, almost all year round. December to March is known as the winter months, but winter is nothing here like it is in the United States. In terms of rain, the rainy months are May and June and then September and November. Once again, the rainfall totals are often small compared to what you may be use to. [This is why the low tourist season is during the summer, and can really save you a lot of money.]

Now that you know what Jamaica’s weather is like, you may be wondering how it can impact your travels. Tropical weather is ideal for all types of travel, but especially romantic getaways and honeymoons. How would you like to spend the day lounging by the beach with your spouse by your side? [obviously] …The weather is just one of the reasons why Jamaica is known as being the perfect destination for honeymoons and romantic getaways.

…The tropical weather of Jamaica is also nice, as it allows you to get full use out of the beach. The beautiful beaches of Jamaica are another reason why it is a popular vacation destination. As previously stated, you can lounge around the beach surrounded by beautiful, tropical weather with your partner at your side. But, that isn’t all that you can do. You can also enjoy an afternoon of swimming, boating, snorkeling, scuba diving, or kayaking. [Or lounging at the beach some more.]

The post then goes on to say that there are many resorts including all-inclusive, but the best is Superclubs blah blah blah.

Who cares?

I want to go to the beach, I don’t really care about what goes on at an all-inclusive resort. Too many people, too much partying (I know there are those who disagree with this), too much money!

I’d rather find a small little bed & breakfast on (or extremely close) to the beach.

Back to the original point of the post, the weather in Jamaica is beautiful. Plus it is different depending on where you go. In the mountains it is cooler. On the south coast I believe it is less humid. Everywhere it is sunny.

Anyone have anything to add about Jamaica weather?
