Great Caribbean Travel Specials for the Fall.

As summer comes to an end, and the leaves start to change, I really want to get away to the beach. I’m not one of those people who hate fall or winter. I just hate the cold. My wife loves it, she would never want to move away from the snow. In fact, she’d like to move to a place where they more snow (snowdays). I think she’s crazy.

The nice thing is that during this time of year, the tourism industry in the Caribbean is just starting up, and to get it moving, many companies are putting out great deals. For instance, here is on from Travelocity – “Warm Islands, Cool Deals: Get away from it all in the Caribbean. $75 off Caribbean packages.” So many people wait until it gets really cold to go to the Caribbean, so this could be a great deal to go now. Priceline is another company who is telling you to Save up to $325 on Caribbean Packages!

Recently Air Jamaica announced that they were lowering fairs, and American Airlines followed with the same announcement. Many hotels in Jamaica are also offering lower rates. They are trying to boost the tourism, and you are getting the benefit. They are also trying to bring in more tourism to help boost the economy and rebuild some areas after Hurricane Dean. You can save money, and help people at the same time!

If my wife hadn’t just started a new job, I think I would try to convince her to go away for a few days to Jamaica. Yes, I know I’m going next year, but hey, going now and then  wouldn’t be the worst thing that’s ever happened to me.
