Death Sand. Killer Beaches. Don’t Dig a Hole.

Ok. Apparently this is now a big deal. People are being killed in ‘sand-related’ deaths. Now I don’t mean to be insensitive, but come on. There has been 31 deaths in the last 22 years in the US, Australia, New Zealand and England. That’s not really a lot. The article from NBC10 also says that you shouldn’t play around big holes in the sand (well duh), and you shouldn’t dig holes. Well I guess I must have been flirting with death all my life. That’s all we ever did when I was a kid at the beach. All summer long my cousins and I would dig holes. Then we’d try to get in them. Wow, I almost died (note the tone dripping with sarcasm).
