Cows, Beaches, and Cows on Beaches
I don’t know what is up with cows today, but they seem to be everywhere. It started yesterday with a lady from my church who owns a farm about a quarter of a mile from my house. She called and asked if I had any cows in the front yard. Two of hers had gotten loose, and come up this way. She said if I saw them, don’t kill them. LOL. I was thinking how good a steak sounded after that.
Then this morning when I was going through some Google Alerts, i came across two different posts about cows on beaches.
The first is over on Flickr, and is just a picture of a cow, and yes, he is on a is a beach.
The next story is about a cattle drive that happened on Huntington Beach in California. It was a publicity stunt to get some interest in the Orange County Fair. It also misplaced some surfers for a few hours. Luckily, there were designated pooper scoopers to clean the beach afterwards.

In the rural parts of Jamaica where cows often outnumber cars, we call them Walking Stop Signs. For safety reasons, it is best to just let them meander off the road at their own pace [[[keeping in mind the Jamaican refrain of "soon come"]]] because if you blow the horn, you risk having one of them rear up onto your car front.
Bless Up,

I do remember a lot of animals just walking on the road in Jamaica. No so much cows, but a lot of goats. I’ve heard a lot of stories about people having to buy a goat because they ran over it.
